Campaign Details – FAQ – This section is a question and answer list that can be added to the campaign page to help inform prospective backers/investors of frequently asked questions. It’s a good idea to think of some questions you might be asked about your campaign in advance and add them to the campaign page to help in the disclosure process. Umergence will work with you to determine some potential areas of focus for this. Consider this section as if it were a personal interview and dialogue with a sophisticated investor. Issuers are encouraged to continue making additions to this section after the campaign goes live.

Campaign Details – Directors and Officers – This section is only for those members of your team who fill official Director or Officer roles in the company. Each of these parties will need to undergo a “Bad Actor” check once the campaign is submitted for review. A Bad Actor Check is a sort of background check in the securities industry. If any Director, Officer, or Principal Security Holder connected to the offering is found to be a Bad Actor, it could put the offering in jeopardy. You can learn more about what gets screened for in a Bad Actor check and how it relates to securities offerings here.

Once you have completed this section, you can preview your campaign and submit it for review.
